Dunlop tennis expands…

Dunlop will be the Official Ball Supplier for three of Europe’s leading tennis ATP tournaments from 2010: Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, Internazionali BNL d’Italia Rome and the Mutua Madrileña Madrid Open. In addition, Dunlop balls will be used at Roland-Garros and for ATP tournaments in Barcelona, Estoril, Nice, Munich and Dusseldorf.

Tennis legend and American former World No.1 John McEnroe has signed a contract extension with Dunlop. The extension prolongs McEnroe’s long association with the Dunlop™ brand, which now dates back to 1981. He will continue to act as a Global Brand Ambassador and will endorse the brand’s rackets, balls and thermos.

McEnroe remains one of the greatest players to have ever played the game. Winner of seven Grand Slam singles titles and nine Grand Slam men’s doubles titles, he is widely remembered for his superb volleying ability as well as his infamous rivalries with the likes of Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl.
